Bell Poznań is a renowned language school with long experience of high-quality teaching. Here you will find language courses and training sessions customized to your needs and level. We do our best to ensure a selection of language teachers adequate to students’ expectations. In Poznań and the entire region of Wielkopolska ours is the longest active school with the broadest range of courses on offer. We offer general and business English courses as well courses in German and Spanish. As for format of our courses here the selection is also wide – apart from stationary courses we offer residential courses in attractive locations as well as intensive five-day on-site courses. Recently we started organizing courses in oriental languages: Survival Chinese and Survival Arabic. Basic knowledge of such languages is indispensable for people doing business in Asia.
The school was established in 1989, and already a year later started business as well as general English courses in major Poznań companies. Within a short period the school developed a team of teachers specializing in courses to high-ranking corporate executives. Our corporate clients at that early stage included such companies as: TPSA, Beiersdorf Lechia, Bestfoods, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals S.A., Budimex, Jeronimo Martins, BZWBK, Kostrzyn Paper and others. Ordered by the British Council, Bell Poznań conducted a series of training courses for the Polish army (Air Force). A few years later we were invited to cooperate with the Seminary of Missionary Oblates at Obra near Wolsztyn, where since then we have been running intensive courses every September. We also take part in many methodological conferences and at one of them these two facts prompted a slogan to describe the spectrum of our clients: "From war to peace".
In addition to courses for companies, the school has developed its own, very popular, brands of courses: “English Naturally " and "Get-Away ".
The former are five-day courses (the length may be adjusted to customer specifications) organized individually on request to refresh or improve a student’s knowledge of the language. During the English Naturally course an English-speaking atmosphere is created to introduce in a natural way any lexical and grammar items which in response to the student’s needs (and as assessed by our methodologist) help boost their self-confidence in using the language and encourage correctness and ease in new business as well as sociolinguistic contexts. Syllabus for such courses is developed in an interview with individual students and is strictly tailored to their needs. Lessons in such courses are run mostly or exclusively by native speaker teachers. Selecting teachers from several English-speaking countries, with diversified personalities and teaching styles, serves to boost student’s perception of English and its varieties spoken around the world.
The latter product, the Get-Away courses, are also an excellent offer to companies. They are usually week-long courses away from Poznań taught mostly or exclusively by native speaker teachers from several English-speaking countries, who also organize extra-curricular activities. In this way the entire stay in a comfortable hotel is devoted to mastering English. Our residential courses have been popular with employees of such companies as: GlaxoSmithKline, BOC Gazy, Jeronimo Martins, Philips, Zeller Plastic and others.
